The structure of weighted shift-invariant subspaces

چکیده مقاله

An old and still open problem in operator theory is the invariant subspace problem,that is whether every operator $A\in B(X)$ has non-trivial invariant subspace? In what follows, we consider this problem for shift operator in some weighted spaces.We introduce some classes of Banach spaces for which the invariant subspace problem for the shift operator has positive answer. Moreover, we consider some cases of weighted spaces for which the problem remains open.
